Surbiton Park was developed in the 1850s by William Woods, but by the early 21st century the name was disappearing from the public consciousness. The Wikipedia article is a last-ditch attempt to keep it alive.

At long last (Jan. 2011), Qype have deleted their entry for Surbiton Park Post Office, which was closed some time ago. This means that the Wikipedia article now regularly appears as the first result when I google Surbiton Park. Yippee!

Qype is back, but now (Feb.2011) they are calling it a newsagent's.
